I would like to induce colorectal cancer via injection of cancer cell lines into mice models. So far I've found literature regarding the number of cells to be injected, but I'm not sure which part of mouse should I inject to. Also, I read that in situ injection is effective in inducing the cancer, and thus would like to try that method.
Any idea on the method? Appreciate help from anyone :)
Most injections I have seen for this purpose take place in the tail vein (link related)

Thanks for the info and suggestion, but from what I understand, in situ injection means injection on the site. Since I am studying colorectal cancer, I was thinking of injecting cells directly into or subcutaneous of the mouse colon.
