For example after running a column chromatography I realized that five of the collected fractions contained high enzyme activity (after running an assay on each). So I've pooled the five fractions together but the total volume is too high. So, now, how can I reduce the volume of the pooled fraction (as in concentrating the pooled fraction)?

The instruments that might be useful and found in my University are: Freeze drier, steam bath/water bath, and rotary evaporator. Are there any chemical means of concentrating the pooled fraction?
