Hello, Thanks, I did put a image of SEM, the image has got charged because organic matter is present, I should clean several times before SEM analysis, but I can not enhanced the quality of image.
The stripes are present due charging. if coating (with Pt, Pt/Pd etc) is not an option, to begin with I would decrease acc. voltage. You can also try to BSE detector, it's "less sensitive for charging", but on the other hand we don't know what you want to do. Images usually are used to intepret e.g. contrast, or mophology of the particles? Based on the questions you want to answer with your SEM/TEM research then it is easier to decide what to do in the machine :-)
1. The tripes shows charging up of the sample due to poor electrical conductivity or vibration of the system due to construction around or similars.
In this case, I recommend you using a coating layer such as ESPACER. This is a spin coating conductive layer, which can be easily removed by dipping your sample into water.
I have used ESPACER for along time for SEM observation and EBL (electron beam lithography) to avoid charging up phenomena.
Please see the enclosed file for details of ESPACER.
2. Edge of particles are not sharp, which means your adjustment of STIGMA is not good.
Apart from the blurriness in your image, which is most probably caused due to charging effect as mentioned above, overall quality of the image is good enough to be published.
I mean at 100,000 K magnification, normally you would not get much more sharp image than this one (after removing charging effect).
BTW, did you get all images with this kind of blurriness issue, then I would also recommend you to think about coating your sample to reomve the charging effect as recommended above.
