Hi. Please tell me what guidelines should i need to follow for questionaries' type research work in India. It is not hospital based work, we are conduction basic institutional based qualitative research work (human subject- verbal communication).
Survey face validity should be established first. The survey’s face value could be established using two-step process. The first step involves having the survey reviewed by two experts (an expert familiar with the topic to evaluate if our questions successfully capture the topic of interest and an expert on question construction ensuring that the survey does not contain common errors such as leading, confusing or double-barreled questions). The survey is then pilot tested on a subset of participants, the internal consistency of questions is checked to examine questions reliability by ensuring the survey answers are consistent, and the final set of collected data is carefully revised.
At one point, you say you are working with survey questionnaires, but at another you say it is qualitative verbal communication. So, can you clarify whether you are collecting numerical data that you intend to analyze with statistics? And if you are using statistics, which program will you be using (e.g., SPSS, State, R, etc.)
