Basically we want to express a gene in theileria transformed cell line for its interaction on the function of transformed cells. For transfection, we will use electroporation. So that vector will express protein and can enter the cells by above said method.

There are several factors to keep in mind before choosing a vector.
For eg);
-What kind of a promoter do you want to work with (inducible or non inducible)
-fluorescence tag
-AB resistance and so on.
If you are looking for a simple transfection in mammalian vector you can use any empty vectors with a CMV promoter they work just fine.
Anyways its best if you have a look at addegen there is everything you want and they have a huge repository of plasmids to work with any models.
