HELP ME.. Any suggestion on applying PVA hydrogel or alginate gel for solar evaporators?

I have been studying sodium alginate with nanocellulose composite hydrogel for some times. Using PPy as photothermal metarial, I manage to get striking low evaporation rate of 1.4 kg/m2/hr. I wonder how else I can improve my hydrogel performance in the solar steam generation application?
