I want to measure LTC4 release from HMC-1 mast cells. It would be better if someone could share their experience. I want to stimulate mast cell to release LTC4.

The experimental conditions can be found in my 2003 publication (Li et al., J. Biol. Chem., 2003, 278, 4725). As a precaution, there are different subsets of HMC-1 cells. The line I used expressed LTC4 but not PFD2 when exposed to calcium ionophore.
Prof. Marone's group, in Naples (italy) it is been involved from a long time in the study of mast cells.
