I am trying to execute Proteome Discoverer for label free quantification. I imported .raw and .msf files into the workflow and started running. While executing the PD, I am getting the following error:
MSF FilesErrorExecution of MSF Files (0) failed due to following error: Can't create a result of not successfully finished processing workflow 'F:\LC\Label Free Quantification\CT_GroupA_S_S1_400fm_1-(1).msf'. It has the state: Execution Failed.
What does this error indicate
Hi Monica,
The Processing workflow has been interrupted abruptly; hence you are getting this error when you are trying to analyze using .msf file.
Consider reprocessing the complete study using the .raw file alone

For Label free quantification, I have to provide both .msf and .raw files.
How can I rectify this error?
I agree with Dr. Saravanan Kumar, its better to use .raw files instead the .msf files.
For any analysis, you dont have to use both .raw and .msf files. You can use either of them.
