I have access to the patient's blood who has been diagnosed with the MEGDEL syndrome. and we need to perform the mRNA analysis (splicing) based on the mutation position. I would like to know whether SERAC1 protein expresses in blood ?
SERAC1 is expressed all over body tissues (see attach from GTEX) but as Ireneusz Stolarek said expression does't mean that the protein is largely present.
Thank you all for your response. I would like to know whether I can detect the mRNA in the blood? And if yes, could you send me the link to the paper? Thank you
