Hi guys,

Does anyone do echo for the HFpEF mouse model?

I'm doing the echo for the HFpEF mice models which are fed with HFD and L-NAME.

Those mice are under anesthesia for echo. And it's difficult for me to get a perfect image like other papers showed, especially pulsed-wave Doppler of the mitral inflow. When we do it, E wave is followed by a flat wave, and then A wave occurs, rather than E wave being followed by A wave, like most papers showed. And we also find that there are three waves in PW doppler, E wave, A wave, and unknown wave. I searched and there are some clinical papers, suggesting that L wave could occur in people with diastolic dysfunction. But I don't know whether L wave could occur in HFpEF mice models. I'm not sure whether the images we got are right either.

And could anyone tell me some skills for mouse echo?

Many thanks.
