RAW 264.7 cells mouse macrophage phenotype transformed cell line.
I want to transfect RAW 264.7 cells with plasmid DNA for fluorescent reporter expression
There are 2 different reporters under different cytokine inducible promoters.
The reporters are a cytoplasmic mCherry and a cytoplasmic GFP.
My plasmid is about 11.5kb

Raw cell line can be considered as hard-to-transfect and their transfection is really challenging. However, I would be glad to propose you a solution for this specific application. Actually, at OZ Biosciences we developped transfection reagents since almost 15 years (please refer to the link below) and we have solutions that are really efficient for Raw 264.7 transfection.

I worked on Raw 264.7 cells. I suggest you to take cells from early passages ( around 2-3). this will increase the efficiency of transfection.
