I used this blocking buffer to block and dilute primary and secondary antibodies for western blots with an IR based endpoint detection system (Li-Cor Odyssey) where 680nm and 800nm IR dye conjugates are usually used with the secondaries.
It really works good with a very low or clean background if done carefully following the instructions. This blocking buffer is very good if the target is any phosphorylated proteins and the primary antibodies used are phosphospecific.
In this regard I also want to mention another similar product (PP82, Aqua Block, East Coast Bio) is of comparable quality with much less price.
