This question is towards organic chemistry/molecular biology researchers. I am looking for basic chemical structures drawing free software for Mac preferably. You may suggest for PC also. Thanks in advance.
There is probably a lot of free chemical drawing software out there, but I only have experience with MarvinSketch:

Marvinsketch works fine for me. At work we use ChemBioDraw Ultra but that software is not for free.
I'm looking forward to see some other suggestions here.
In windows I have used ChemDraw Ultra and Marvin Sketch. I think Marvin sketch is available for Mac.
We use Chemsketch as alternative to ChemBio office. So far I know there is both, a windows and mac version.

try chemsketch from ACD labs. Its free and the features are also very good for drawing chemical structures. You can also view 3D structure for the compounds.
