I want to to know whether can i design such microbes to rescue gene phenotypes (The gene which mutations leads to human diseases) Your guidance will be highly appreciated.
Sorry I don't understand your question. What do you mean the rescue gene phenotype ? And do you want it to be used in-vivo in humans?
My question is If we can design such kind of microbes which reside in human gut and friendly and to use these engineered microbes to rescue mutated phenotypes in mouse model or fly model?
Ofcourse we can do it, but the question is who would like to have a GMO in the gut ?
Still you are not clear what do you mean by "rescuing the phenotype", what exactly do you mean by it, the aim/purpose ?
Like we are using overexpression and or more protein to the cells to rescue our normal phenotype of a gene in mutated form so if we could isolate such microbes and make some engineering in it to directly target our gene where it express such as in brain and modify its normal functions.
