Hello, could anybody help me to get idea about which kind of ionomers, surfactants, additives and solvents except Nafion, iso-propanol, n-propanol, hexanol, methanol, ethanol, water, ePTFE, Genapol etc are using to synthesize the paste and electrode for low temperature and high temperature fuel cell application?
Please share with me some DOE reports.

Thanks Peter Wagner. I knew that PBI is used as ionomer within HT-PEM fuel cell. i am looking for the ionomer except Nafion 1100 which can use on GDL or with catalyst to develop electrodes. Could you please give me idea here?
For LT-PEM and HT-PEM should use different ionomer.
For the solvent, it depends on what coating method you are going to apply.
Different coating method has different viscosity requirement.
Meanwhile the ionomer for HT-PEM are difficult to dissolved, this also need to take consider to selecting solvent.
For GDL/MPL, it is also different within catalyst layer.
I recommend you should ask more specific question and describe what coating method that you are going to use.

2. The electrode include GDL/MPL and catalyst layer. Are you asking catalyst layer only?
3. What coating method you will apply?
1. DOE Reports are classified for most of them, especially technical ones and can not be shared so easily. Sorry :-)
2. Clearly, as explained by Ting-Chu Jao, components for HT-FC and LT-FC are necessarily different, for simple thermal stability reasons.
3. For LT-FC, Nafion has been the reference material for decades, and some other exist today but performances of systems resulting from their uses may be more difficult to compare with existing literature based on Nafion or related perfluorosulfonated polymers.
4. Asking idea to people on such a early-commercial technology now is, in my humble opinion, vain. If they had one they would probably not share it with you on this public space regarding the potential of income for them related with this idea.
5. Please describe what you want to do precisely, so that we could bring, if possible, some required help: lab-scale development of electrodes for characterization of catalysts developed in your lab ? build-up of a single-cell FC ? other ?

For LT-PEMFC, sulfonated polymer can be used as an ionomer. Nafion is a type of sulfonated polymer. Avoid ionomer with phenyl group for the anode catalyst binder as phenyl group inhibits the HOR activity. For cathode, fluorinated hydrocarbon ionomer can be used. Selection of solvents is important for the fuel cell performance and durability.
For HT-PEMFC, you can basically use PTFE or other highly fluorinated polymer as long as you can make dispersion. Since phosphoric acid is the conductor for the HT-PEMFC, the first thing you need to pay attention is electrode flooding.
I am searching for LT PEM application and the electrode include -GDL, catalyst layer. Generally roll to roll process is using for coating. I am interested to find another approachable or recommended method of coating. I am searching for surfactant also which can decompose completely at 100°C. Any suggestion?
On bench, coating is generally made on small scale by spray (spray gun -50 $ one ) or serigraphy printing (more expansive, printer required).
For surfactant, too large question as the linked ink formulation is necessarily a phenomenological approach-work. My advice is make a first research of surfactants available commercially , check the sds for the decomposition T, and make attempts with each of the qualified candidates for spray-ink formulation and-or literature regarding their use in the past. That will ease your selection of an appropriate surfactant and narrow your decision scope.
