We are interested in doing some comparative studies on necroptosis in human normal and cancer cell lines. We had no problem identifying cancer lines that can undergo necroptosis using e.g., TSZ., but for normal human cell line, what we have found so far requires transfection with some parts of the necroptotic machinery, e.g. HEK293 cells needed RIPK3 transfection. Since work involving transfection is not possible in our case, we are hoping to work with a normal cell line that can be induced to go necroptotic with usual inducers of this cell death pathway. We would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks a lot!
