Publication of a scientific work serves advantages to the author/s and the readers: distribution of the scientific work of the author and the readers may get benefits (application of the results in their work, take the suggestion/s from the work in consideration, etc…) from this work.
So if one publishes her/his work in more than one journal, the benefits will be increased to the author and the number of readers will be increased.

If I am the editor of any of the journals where you have published your work, and the re-published work as Lam Thanh Nguyen has noted is not about 70% original, I am going to put you in serious trouble over copyright. You need to remember that once you receive your final proof as the penultimate step before publishing your work, you are also asked to sign a form that acknowledges the publisher as the copyright holder of your manuscript. It then follows that a legal case may be activated against you if you keep republishing your work without any significant changes. Also, how about your professional integrity and scholarly reputation? ... Thus, my recommendation is this: in the era of open educational resources, publish your work in your own blog and make sure you share that link via researchgate, academia.edu, social and other media as many times as you want. This way, you can achieve the goals that you have stated "the benefits will be increased to the author and the number of readers will be increased" but without the legal, or academic integrity issues.
I wanted to show your question on the other hand. It happened to me that I published a research in a foreign journal that has no credibility (this is my fault), and I wanted to re-publish the research in another journal. My request will be rejected according to the opinions of colleagues in this dialogue. Here my research became useless. Therefore, I support giving the researcher a second chance to publish the research in a journal or conference, provided that this is proved in the publishing instructions of the scientific journals.
Rather than publishing duplicates, improving the quality of the manuscript and publishing it in a high impact factor journal would be a better idea.
Publishing the same research work in a second journal is not considered "ethical" and is also a "infringement of copyright"
this can penalize your credibility. preferably the paper should be extended by adding other case studies at least for validation while keeping the same concept. anyway before the paper arrives at the reviewers; the editor checks the pladgia, checks the similarity between this work and the other works of the same author .... the reviewers do the same. the screenshot is from the Elsevier Reviewer panel.

No you are not allowed due to copyright law. Even your can't submit the same manuscrpit for 2 journals at the same time.
Publishing article in international journal will help readers. Google can help you to find newly published articles. Researchgate and Academia websites will provide free access of articles.
It really so hard to publish article in respected journal. It takes time and revisions are needed. Reveiw process sometimes takes long time.

If I had a paper with lots of applications useful to the public I would share it in social media and other (non-peer) magazines. But that of course is a different topic.

For sure can NOT, Not allowed as when the papers published in any journal, the copyright automatically transferred to this journal.
Some journal ask for singed letter of copyright transfer and the rest include the agreement in the submission system.
If this happens, the paper will be retracted from the journal and the author will be black listed.

The published result of any experiment/research in one journal can not be published as such in another journal. In the present day, many journal use anti-plagiarism software where these will be easily detected. Most of the journal take an PDF copy with some declaration which include non publication of the data included in the submitted article with signature of the authors before publication of an article. Moreover, it is against the Creative Commons Attribution Licence which is followed by many journal. The journal may blacklist the authors for such activity. so such activity is not advisable.
Publication of article in any open access journal and uploading of the PDF of the published article in the sites like ResearchGate may solve all the problems. Many free, open access online journals are available. I am personally attached with one such journal (Exploratory Animal and Medical Research).
I wonder eh anyone wants the article to be published in many journals ?? Now a days the article is available at the tip of finger to anyone when it is once published . So the visibility and assessibility of the article is there !!
