I studied that ethyl acetate, hexane and methanol are best for extraction process. Are there any methods for identification of compounds apart from GCMS,HPLC,NMR? Can anyone suggest some good methods? Thank you

Depends on the type of secondary metabolite you are looking into - but I dont understand what you mean by -'good method' dont you think HPLC and GC coupled to a MS is good enough - and they are also relatively simple to use.
