Hi I have designed and synthesized compounds which are expected to act as steel corrosion inhibitors in 1 M HCl, I have a problem with the solubility of the compounds in the corrosion medium, I have used DMSO 1:1000 but I still can not get a very clear solution!

In similar cases, using Isopropyl alcohol is very common, so this is my suggestion because Isopropyl alcohol dissolves a wide range of non-polar compounds such as some corrosion inhibitors. Before preparing stock solution, you can use a certain amount of Isopropyl alcohol in this solution.
