Dear all,
I am interested in setting up an Angiogenesis assay on our Essen IncuCyte system but the cells which are recommended are infected with Lentivirus which we can not use due to our labs being biosafety level 1 (to use Lentivirus you have to have Biosafety level 2).
After much searching I am struggling to find commercially available HUVECs cells with a GFP tag that have not being infected using lentivirus. Does anyone know of any that are available that I may have missed?
As a back up option I plan to transfect HUVECs with GFP myself but in the first instance would like to buy in cells that already have the GFP tag if possible.

The viral vector is BSL-2, but virus infected (no viruses active anymore) could be treated as 1-st level!
