In most of the previous publications, the spectrophotometric determination of cutinase was based on the hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl butyrate (p-NPB) to coloured product p-nitrophenol. Are there any other alternative ways to perform this instead of using p-nitrophenyl butyrate (p-NPB)?

Thanks in advance.
