I have some questions related to the SH-SY5Y cell handling.
I grow my SH-SY5Y cells in cell culture dish with EMEM (FBS+, P/S+)cell culture media. One day after cell plating, the cells nicely attach to the bottom of the plate. However, in day 2, all of the cells detach from the bottom of the plate and float in the cell culture media.
(Note: I have already checked in some sources and am aware that the cells SH-SY5Y have 2 forms- attaching to the plate and floating in the media. Plus, these two forms can be changed spontanously).
1. Is there any ways that we can keep the cells attaching to the plate for a long period of time?
2. Any recommended method to handle this type of cells?
