Hi technical Gurus :)

So, I am working on a cytotoxicity assay based on the Roche's WST-1 reagent.

Every setup is in DMEM. Blank is medium only and the negative control is medium+cells.

The other setups each contain cells, medium and bacteria. I am looking how cytotoxic these bacteria are to the cells. No positive control.

So, if I just divide averaged background (negative control/cells without exposure to bacteria) by the sample OD, I do get a significant difference-40, 50, 60 %, but I wonder whether this is my only option.
