The flagship journal of the American Sociological Society is American Sociological Review. This is among the highest rated sociology journals. Acceptance rate is low, but a publication here would have a wide readership.

There is a journal called Minds and Machines: Journal for Artificial Intelligence, Philosophy and Cognitive Science. Based on its editorial board, I would rank this journal very high.

In my opinion, the best way to find an appropriate journal is to review recent publications and Editorial statements, which are usually found in the journal.
