I have sub- cultured my Pseudomonas aeroginosa in two sets of nutrient broth and after about 48 hours incubation, one of the NB appeared greenish in colour whereas the other had a typical yellowish turbidity of a culture growth. I am confused as to why the same culture is showing two different pigmentation? Is my culture contaminated?

I think that there is contamination in one of the tubes in NB, and as a result, the pigment was different. So, this can happen if there are mutant isolates from these bacteria.
Pema Lhamo contamination is unlikely. Pigment production depends on factors such as iron and oxygen availability. I have had similar experiences!
