I have performed solid state fermentation using organic residue.I want to extract the sample for LC-MS estimation.Which solvent can be appropriate for the extraction of citric acid and gallic acid from my substrate?

Will this solvent for e.g. ethanol or methanol interfere with my results? suggest me some solvent can be good for extraction and give less impurities.
