Hello! Our lab is working with primary cells which we are isolating from the colorectal tissue. During the isolation, we are washing the tissue with pen-strep and then also add some pen-strep in the culture media. But I think we faced yeast contamination (see a photo). Could you please advise which fungicide should we add to our washing steps and in which concentration and which to our culture media. It is also important that fungicide will be not too toxic for the cells. Additionally, maybe there is a way to get rid of the existing contamination without killing the cells? But I also afraid that even if we manage to kill yeast, their spores will leave in the culture. Does it possible? Is it a way to kill the spores?

P.S. I am sorry for not the best quality of the photo, it was done on the phone)
