Which filter cube for the quantification of plastics using Nile red (in acetone:ethanol)?

Hi everyone,

I want to quantify plastic particles originating from biota samples via fluorescence microscopy using Nile red staining (20 µg/mL dissolved in 1:1 acetone:ethanol) and I am wondering which filter cube do you most commonly use for this purpose?

In order to discard the false positives (i.e. leftovers of fat and crustacean shells), I would focus on the particles that appear in purple with a triband (DAPI, FITC, TRITC).. any thoughts?
