For flow cytometry purposes, I am interested in treating activated, human PBMCs with a CD39 inhbitor in the presence of several concentrations of exogenous ATP and then measure changes in surface receptors. Does anyone know what surface receptors are affected by exogenous ATP in T cells? I already know of Integrin alpha 4 and ICAM-1. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
As far as I know, lymphocytes can present some variants of ion channels P2X receptors. These ones are totally sensitive to the levels of ATP. You can find many reviews and original articles about different diseases talking about their role in activating lymphocytes.
If you want, I can for more details about a specific disease or type of lymphocyte.
