I am working on HPLC in which solvent system contains Chloroform, methanol, water and orthophosphoric acid. I want to avoid left over contamination. What should be needle wash solvent in this case.
chloroform is miscible with IPA and ethanol, you can use water: ethanol(50:50) or water :IPA (50:50)
Your needle wash can vary and is usually 'stronger' than the target molecule and its sample matrix.
You should try a mixture of Methanol and Water.
You should try a mixture of Methanol and Water (50:50) .
try magic mixture (Water: ACN: IPA: MeOH) with a ratio of 1:1:1:1
