I have a stock solution of a clinical isolated phage with a titre of ~3E12 pfu/ml. Is it high enough for TEM microscopy, and is there any other considerations for imaging?
The phage should be first prepared for TEM analysis (e.g. by staining, see in Viruses 2018, 10(4), 182 ). For TEM analysis, a low dose method or low-voltage TEM has to be applied.
