In the course of bioprinting the need in temporal (sacrificial) material arises very often. The choice of the material could be based upon:

  • Main biomaterial properties and, thus, printing conditions (e.g. temperature);
  • Printing accuracy required in an experiment;
  • The cost.

Among the materials: gelatin (with low or high Bloom value), Pluronic F-127, PEO (polyethylene oxide), and etc.

What material is the first option in your studies and why?

P.S.

We partly discuss the issue. But there are still a lot of options.
