The back hole has an event horizon that cannot be passed by photons and probably also not by elementary particles. Elementary particles reside on a private Hilbert space that owns a private parameter space. The geometric center of this parameter space can probably not pass the horizon, but the part of that parameter space may still hover over the black hole and inject volume into the black hole such that its radius increases. Thus the horizon is covered with halfway blocked elementary particles. The other half injects volume outside the horizon.
