What problem can arise in Western and Immunofluorescence if my primary antibody consists of only kappa light chains and not the whole antibody?

What type of problems can I face? For standardizing an experiment is whole antibody preferable over primary antibodies consisting only of kappa light chains? Why such problem arises?

you will encounter two major problems if you compare the activity of the light chain alone to complete Ig. first, the affinity of the Kappa chain is much lower than the whole Ig. Hence a low level of staining and a lot of background noise. and second difficulties in revealing the kappa chain with a secondary marker. Low coupling intensity
