For the moment, I am using LB broth to enrich the E. coli to get a concentrated stock of phage but I would like to know if ever there are other media that are more apt in yielding a high phage stock.
It will depend upon the phage and the host cells, but you would need to optimize for each set. I also doubt you would see a dramatic difference, possibly a few fold only. So I'm not sure it is worth the effort to change. More important is going to the moi of initial infection when trying to generate your phage stock.
