We conducted primary neuron culture from mice embryo cortex recently and met this weird phenomenon: a suspending cloud of sticky white indigestible remnant after typsin incubation.

Similar case in trials with higher trypsin concentration. DNase was added so we have excluded DNA. The bad part is, we found lots of cells seemingly entangled by the remnant (block centrifugal settling). Could this be indigestible proteins or polysaccharide? Or incompletely digested peptide?

Thanks a lot for any information about this mysterious slug.
