Hi, we work with a rare cancer, adenoid cystic carcinoma. We are in a bind with a shortage of an essesntial cell culture component, the Lonza BBE, CC-4098. Has anyone tried other sources and gotten good results in their tissue culture?
We are in a bit of a standstill and of course the company wont release their source of BBE. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I will show my ignorance. YEARS have passed since I even heard of the BBE cell culture components, BUT you might try PERSONAL contact with a faculty member of one of the Veteranary Schools in the United States. Cornell University comes to mind immediately. State you dilema and see iff a personal orientation can be arraned. May God bless all!
