What is an appropriate homogenizing buffer medium for rat brain tissue for all kinds of experiments i.e. biochemical parameters, protein extraction?
10 mM phosphate buffer, pH 7.2, containing 1 mM EDTA and 1 mM of the antioxidant
butyl hydroxyl anisole (in final 0.15% ethanol).
The above buffer was used for mouse brain tissue homogenization in order to evaluate some biochemical parameters about oxidative stress. For more details see the attached paper.
