For my project, I need to set up a viability method to see if inhibitors are responding. We currently don't know which method suits best and because there are so many we don't know which one we should choose and what should be the best way to make the cells loose from the culture flask
MTT assay is a good method to study the effects of inhibitors on viability of adherent cells. It´s easy and fast and useful to check several inhibitors in a M96 dish. Good luck!
MTT, CellTiterGLo, measure luminescence if your cells have a luciferase reporter...all these methods are valid, if you don't have particular issues. you can try MTT first, make sure to seed cells ad different density to avoid overcrowded well (that lead to plateau reading) and prepare for T0 after cells seeding (like ON so cells adhere) and go for different time points, with at least triplicates for statistics.good luck
The colorimetric MTT test is a good method for evaluation the cytotoxic effects.
