Hello!

I am planning to culture whole human bone marrow for 3 to 4 days and need a culture to maintain all the possible cell types, including mesenchymal stroma cells and their fibroblasts, etc. as well as HSC.

However, there are many commercial mediums available and I am a bit confused because there are too many cultures for different purposes. For instance, there is a culture for growing myeloid cells, another for stromal cells, and another for mesenchymal stromal.

So I decided to make a cocktail consisting of all of these mediums to keep everyone happy in the culture.

But I am wondering if there is a medium that contains different substances that maintain the growth of all the cells in human bone marrow??

I found one from ThermoFisher (Gibco) but not sure if it is good for all the cells, as the manufacturer just mentioned good for human stromal cells and contains a blend of hematopoietic growth factors.

Thank you!
