Clinicians need to crimp the self-expandable stents into a delivery sheath so they can deploy it at a target site. I want to know if there are any researchers out there discussing the amount and values of this longitudinal force which is in the direction of the delivery sheath and is applied mainly by the user? I have found some references for biliary stents (found below) but I was not able to find anything for cardiovascular applications.
