I have tried PAA and F-127 to disperse TiO2 nanowires after aggressive probe-sonication which resulted in smaller aggregates upto few microns instead of individually dispersed as seen from DLS, wafer characterization under AFM and drop-cast by SEM.
Shabdiki Chaurasia You need a stabilizer, not a surfactant. This can either be a charge stabilizer (the optimum concentration of phosphate for TiO2). Or a steric stabilizer (the optimum concentration of, say, 50 kDa PEG or PEI). See:
Sometimes a charged (usually anionic; cationic surfactants aren't the norm) surfactant can be used to combine both wetting and stabilization but, if your material wets in the continuous phase, then it's not a surfactant you need.
