The outermost portion of plant cells are the cell wall while it is cell membrane for animal cells. The ionic detergents like SDS (Sodium dodecyl sulfate) , CTAB ( etyltrimethylammonium bromide) are most commonly used for dissolving the plant cell membranes only after breaking the cell wall physically. Lysozyme on the other hand is used for gram positive bacterial cell wall. I suppose you may use either of them to degrade the animal cell membrane following commonly used standard protocols. You also may follow a different approach using GuSCN (guanidinium thiocyanate), a chaotropic agent for denaturing proteins present in cell membrane.
