Science and technology have had a major impact on society, and their impact is growing. By making life easier, science has given man the chance to pursue societal concerns such as ethics, aesthetics, education, and justice; to create cultures; and to improve human conditions.
In my openion, the top discoveries that will potentially rock the world in 2030 would be as follows:
- Dementia Declines
- Solar energy will takes over
- Prevention of type 1 diabetes
- Food security (genetically modified food)
- The internet of (every)things
- No more plastic water bottles (ecofriendly alternatives)
- Medical Advancement (the cure is no longer worse than the disease)
- DNA mapping

there will be no basic discovery...however, people will be more dependent on digital services... all what we are doing today is trying to use huge data for decision making, organizational management and security. we are making the digital world more powerful.
what I can see is a chaotic world where there will be no control over huge information, no personal privacy and no national security ... the humanity can be grounded with a few moments (potentials)
The most significant discoveries in near future would be saving of water. Why because recently in Africa, the scarcity of water has come. In near future all will be in trouble with shortage of water. Water should be preserved and used carefully The slogan "Save Water and Save Life should be remembered. Water is very very essential for all including human being.

As per opinion most significant scientific discoveries are near future save energy and water . It will be useful for peaceful life of human beings.
