I am planning to use for in vitro experiments Volasertib (BI6727) that I obtained from Cayman. I obtained 1mg power that I am planning to dissolve in DMSO. I was wondering whether anyone has used this compound and can provide some insights as to the stability of the compound after it has been dissolved in DMSO and whether I can keep the stock a -20. Many thanks in advance.
If the compound is stored in a tube and the tube is purged with an inert gas as suggested by the supplier, the compound's activity is retained at -20 degree C for few months.
Yes no probm at al. You can keep for 1 year. Once you make 1ml, aliquot in 100uL so that whole 1 ml won’t be freeze and thaw again again which decreases it efficienc. I hope you got. Dmso is best solvent. Also dmso will not go beyond 0.1 or 0.01% . Make calculation.
