I am running a 5a-reductase inhibition study, but PC-3 cell lysates did not seem to produce DHT upon testosterone incubation, so what other cell lines could possibly present me with a rich source of 5a-reductase? Thank you for your help :)
Androgen-responsive LNCaP cells are reported to express the enzyme. Whether it is "rich source" or not, not clear.
we used microsomal fractions from liver tissue.
Dear researchers,
Thank you for your kind responses.
Best wishes,
Justin
