Dear all, recently i started a cell viability study using presto-blue reagent for the testing. However, i dissolved the drug of interest in sterile water before adding into the wells (96 well plate) containing the cells and the culture media. In this case, i used varying compositions of sterile water (+drug) and culture media to achieve different concentrations of the drug in the final volume within the wells. In this scenario, my only control was the cells inside 100% culture media (without any sterile water). In this case, would it be a valid comparison if i were to compare the effects of different drug concentrations against the control? For your kind responses, please.
