I recorded the TGA and DSC of few active pharmaceutical ingredient (API). Out of 14 samples, the ten samples contains the enantiomeric racemate; while four samples are in diastereomeric racemate. I am very keen to do detail thermal study of these API samples. I found very less literature regarding analysis in racemate form. Kindly provide me article or guidance regarding the thermal analysis of compounds in racemate form.

The study may indicate thermal decomposition, the rearrangements that are accompanied with heat absorption or release. We could establish even mechanism for the decomposition and relate the thermal stability with the substituents. We also published a paper on citric acid decomposition.
