If I understand your question correctly, you are looking for an idea for a search question (i.e. a query) that will lead you to a systematic review with a limited number of results.

It is not easy to give an answer, because the number of studies to include in a systematic review (or in a scoping review) is not predictable.

However, I see three possible ways to get to the result you want to obtain:

1) do not focus on the search question but on the inclusion and exclusion criteria that you will apply after launching the search string, because by modulating them in a restrictive sense you will be able to get to the result you set as your objective;

2) you could instead set a query on an emerging technology in physiotherapy, to do, if possible, a systematic review, or a mapping of the existing literature through a scoping review. I tried to do a test search on Pubmed about "metaverse technology in physiotherapy" and I attach the .docx file with the strings I used and the .txt file with the results saved from Pubmed (21 results). If you like the idea you can adapt and launch the string also on EMBASE, CINAHL, Scopus, Web of Science and Cochrane Library and treat everything with the PRISMA method. However, if the metaverse technology is not suitable for your project there could certainly be another VR/AR technology that can satisfy your research needs;

3) you could also do your systematic review on the rehabilitation treatment of a specific disease on which there are not many studies yet, choosing a very specific field, which leads to a limited number of results.
