Yes. Review what types of compounds are normally found, then decide which compounds you wish to study or measure and which techniques are applicable. IOW: Spend some time researching the question. That is what an " Independent Researcher" does.
You can do HPTLC, LCMS and HPLC analysis but during HPLC take always silica column for seperation.
The better way is first fractioned the compound in hexane, Ethyle acetate, and Methanolic fraction. Then performed analysis using above mentioned method....I hope now you will get some idea...
